Arrival & Registration

Just head over where you bought your tickets and press the “resend tickets” button at the top right of the page.

It will send your tickets straight to you, but please make sure you check your spam folder if it doesn’t show up in your inbox.

Make sure you use the correct link for the ticket you bought. So if you need a Photo Session ticket re-sent, go to the link where you bought your Photo Session tickets. If you need a Fan Meet ticket re-sent go to the Fan Meet store, and if you need an entry ticket re-sent go to the main store.

We would also recommend you create a Leap Events account as this will show all of your orders, even if you ordered them before you created an account.

Anyone who has purchased Photo Sessions or Fan Meets for guest who has cancelled will be given the opportunity to swap this for another guest of the same value, or pay the difference to upgrade to a different guest. If a swap or upgrade is not wanted then a refund will be given before the event. Refunds are only issued to the card used to make the original purchase.

Photo Sessions

Yes. If you do not want your bag to be in the photo then it must be left at the table provided.

Bags and other belongings are left at your own risk.

Cosplay is welcome everywhere at our event, including in the Photo Sessions.

Please check on the day with a member of staff if you would like to use props in your photo or if you have a specific pose in mind, as each guest may have different rules. We cannot advise before the event if this will be possible as it will be decided on the day by the guest and their management.

Absolutely no prop guns are permitted, no matter their appearance.

Be respectful: No gifts, no kissing, no lifting (including holding children), and please keep your hands above the waist.

If you have purchased your Photo Session ticket online in advance you can swap the day, or upgrade to a different photo featuring the same actor, any time before you collect your ticket at the event.

Once you have collected your ticket at the event, you cannot change the day.

You cannot exchange your photo ticket for a different actor at any time. The only exception to this is if the guest you purchased a photo with cancels.

Please do not get your phones out in the Photo Session. Your phone must be on silent.

No autographs, personal photos or videos.

Absolutely, however please be aware we use professional flash equipment and glasses may reflect the flash. 

If you do not wish for a reflection in your photo then we ask that you remove your glasses.

Photo Sessions are fast and do not last long, so please be there by the start time of the session. Do not assume they will continue until the start of the next session.

Please only queue for the Photo Session a maximum of five minutes before the session begins. You do not need to arrive any earlier.

There will be whiteboards being updated with any schedule changes, which will also be posted on the @StarfuryNews Twitter account.

There are no limits to how many attendees can be in the photo, however each attendee must buy a ticket. You will get one print for each attendee in the photo.

Children under 12 can be in the photo for free alongside a full paying adult, however you will only receive one copy of the photo.

The price will vary for each guest, but usually range from £20 upwards per guest. Exact prices will available on the Buy Tickets page.

From March 2023 onwards there are no limits to how many attendees can be in the photo, however each attendee must buy a ticket. You will get one print for each attendee in the photo.

Children under 12 can be in the photo for free alongside a full paying adult, however you will only receive one copy of the photo.

For Lux 2, the price displayed is for one attendee to be in the photo, and for one copy of the photograph. You may have a second attendee in the picture for £5 extra, but no more than two attendees can be in the photo.

Please note that you will only receive one copy of the photo even if there are two attendees in it.

You MUST collect your Photo Session ticket from the Pre-Order Pick Up desk at the event. Your order confirmation email IS NOT your ticket

Please come and collect your ticket as early as you can, ideally on the Friday. The queue can be quite long and we cannot be held responsible if your miss your photo because you are still waiting to collect your tickets

You will need to show the QR code from your Order Confirmation email to collect your tickets.

Save some trees by showing the QR code on your phone instead of printing them!

If there is more than one Photo Session room at the event, please pay attention to announcements. This will help with any clashing.

There will be verbal announcements in the Photo Session room.

If the announcements say you should be in two Photo Sessions at the same time, ask a member of staff or a steward which one you should go to first. As long as you listen to announcements whilst in the room you won’t miss anything.

We do our best to spot situations where photos may not come out perfect (such as blinking, talking, hair over face, clothing, reflection in glasses, etc), but as the Photo Sessions are very fast moving we cannot guarantee it. 

If you or the guest are blinking, or if there is any other issue with your photo, please let us know as soon as you collect it.

Photo Sessions give you opportunity to have your picture taken with the guests by a professional photographer in our studio, with a backdrop and professional lighting.

The pictures will be developed as a high quality 10×8 photo on industrial dye-sublimation photo printers, and available for collection later in the day.

Although you do meet the guests when having your photo taken, it is not a Meet & Greet experience. The photo is very fast and although you do get to say “hi” when you walk in for your photo, and “thank you” when you leave, there is no time for any further conversation or questions.

The best time to talk to the guests is during the Q&As, where you can queue to ask the guests a question directly, in the Fan Meets, or in the Meet & Greet for Gold Ticket holders.

We often offer duo and combo Photo Sessions with the guests, but this is not always possible due to time constraints. Any duo and combo options will be available online in advance. You can NOT combine solo photo tickets with guests to make duos or combos of your own choice.

Photo Sessions usually take place on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Exact times will be in the schedule given to you when you arrive at Registration.

Occasionally Photo Sessions may be slightly later in the day.

Photo Sessions are FAST so ensure you are there at the start time shown in the schedule. Do not assume they will continue until the start of the next session.

In Advance

Photo Session tickets can be purchased from our Buy Tickets page. Tickets may not be available until the guest list is closer to being finalised, so keep checking back if your event is not showing on that page.

We recommend you purchase these ASAP as they will not be available at the event, and they can sell out.

Please be aware you must still collect any tickets bought online from the Pre-Sale Pick Up desk before the Photo Session.

Photo Session tickets will be available online until 5 minutes before the Photo Session is scheduled to begin.

On The Day

We recommend you take screenshots of the QR code from your Order Confirmation email and have it ready when you get to the desk. This will greatly help speed up the queue.

The desk will be open from approximately 4pm on the Friday afternoon until 7pm. We’ll re-open on both Saturday and Sunday mornings shortly before the start of the first Photo Session.

When you have your photo taken you will be given Collection Batch number. This helps us locate your photo when it has been printed.

This will be written on your Photo Session ticket as you get your photo taken. If you lose this you will not be able to collect your photo until 3.50pm that day.
